New Hope Partners breaks ground on new assisted living facility in Saginaw Township
SAGINAW – New Hope Partners LLC broke ground on Thursday, April 19 at the Center Road site of the assisted living facility being built in Saginaw Township. New Hope Valley was recommended for approval by the Township Board in .
New Hope Partners is owned by medical professionals with over 150 years of cumulative experience in direct and indirect patient care, particularly in geriatric medicine.
“This premier facility and its operating model is a manifestation of the partners’ collective learning and experiential vision. Our purpose is to create a stimulating yet safely comfortable and complete living experience for all in our home,” said K. Rumi Shahzad, managing director at New Hope Partners.
New Hope Partners is working with local firms Geiersbach Construction as the general contractor and Wilcox Associates as the civil engineer, and the Muskegon firm Hooker De Jong as the architect.
“We are pleased to partner with Michigan-based general contractors, engineers and architects who have valuable experience in crafting homes for the elderly and who will help us inject a strong principle of social responsibility for the elderly, into the infrastructure and purpose of our project,” said Shahzad.
New Hope Partners will be training staff and developing an eco-system specifically equipped to service the physical, spiritual, social, emotional and intellectual well-being of its residents.
The New Hope Valley will incorporate elements of the social model and have an assisted living household and a memory care household to cater to the specialized needs of the residents.
