In reviews from families, seniors, and others concerned about assisted living and Alzheimer’s care, New Hope Valley Assisted Living captured a five-star consumer rating, which is the highest possible score, while also meeting other qualifying criteria for the honor.

About 400 communities – the top one percent of assisted living communities nationwide – achieved this recognition.

New Hope Valley also recently received Saginaw Township’s New Construction Award for 2013. This award recognizes local businesses that have invested in the community and improved Saginaw Township through business developments.

On the heels of these awards, New Hope Valley is also pleased to announce plans for an expansion.

The planned 12,000 square foot addition will allow New Hope Valley to accommodate the growing demands for assisted living services, as well as offer additional space and amenities to current residents.

Construction will begin in April of this year, and is expected to conclude by October.

The addition will include an expanded dining area, which will double the current dining space; 15 assisted living apartments; new, larger beauty salon; library; enclosed courtyard; additional parking; new patio and garden with an outdoor dining space; additional sunroom; and new, larger, activities room.

“It’s an honor to receive the Caring Star and Saginaw Charter Township awards – these awards are a testament to the wonderful employees we have here. We’re also thrilled to move forward with our expansion, as it provides more amenities for our current residents, while also creating room for new residents. Our staff makes New Hope Valley shine, and as we grow, we’ll be looking to add to our team of compassionate and caring employees,” said K. Rumi Shahzad, co-founder and managing director of New Hope Valley.
