Heritage golfers place in Saginaw Valley League Championship

The Saginaw Valley League held its Championship match at the Fortress golf club in Frankenmuth October 1, with 61 players from 12 schools participating.

Alexis De La Cruz led Heritage girls golf team with her best round of the season, shooting a 91 and finishing in a tie for 12th, Allie Barron finished with a 97 in 23rd place, Cassidy Hash shot a 108 in a tie for 36th and Taylor Hare finished 43rd at 111.

This is the last event for the Hawks before the State Tournament on Friday. Coach William Stelter said that the team has steady improved over the 15 events that they have played in this season.
