Saginaw Public Libraries Foundation hosts fundraiser ‘A Haunting at Hoyt’

SAGINAW – The Saginaw Public Libraries Foundation will host its third annual “A Haunting at Hoyt” fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 8 p.m. to midnight at the historic Hoyt Library. All inclusive tickets are $40.

The public is invited to partake in a night of “spirits” at the Hoyt Library. The night will be filled with excitement and suspense. The all-inclusive ticket to this fundraiser includes spirited music and dancing, delicious food, a costume contest, haunted tours and unlimited use of the photo booth. Win a TV, 100 bottles of craft beer, dinner gift cards and much more during the raffle auction. Professional palm reader and numerologist Darlene Denning will provide free readings throughout the night. The ticket also includes thirst-quenching libations – beer, wine, brandy slushes and zombie shots. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be provided. This event is for adults ages 21 and up.

To purchase tickets, stop in at Hoyt Library, 505 Janes St.; charge by phone by calling (989) 755-9833, or go to www.saginawlibrary.org to purchase via PayPal. Tickets will be mailed upon receipt of payment.

Proceeds from this event will go to the Saginaw Public Libraries Foundation. The foundation’s sole purpose is to provide financial support for Public Libraries of Saginaw services now, and for generations to come. The foundation raises funds to assure the libraries are here for the community in perpetuity.
