Comedian Headliners for Jan. 16, 2015 will be Bill Hildebrandt and Mike Stanley.

Since 1997, Hildebrandt has been the only Michigan comic working at the Riviera in Las Vegas. With more than 25 years’ experience and a streamlined delivery that takes the everyday into his unique reality, Hildebrandt has the diversity required to appeal to a wide range of audiences. He’s shared the stage with many of today’s top acts. Listed as one of the “Funniest People in Detroit” by the Detroit Free Press, Hildebrandt is the only comic to headline an entire month solid at a Detroit comedy club. Make no mistake: Hildebrandt is a surefire hit.

Stanley is a working comedian and writer who originate from the Metro Detroit area. His high energy and cut throat delivery has made him a crowd favorite in comedy clubs and college campuses all over the country. Last year he won the “Last Comic Still Standing” comedy competition in Rochester, New York; The Joey’s Comedy Club Challenge, and placed in the top three of Michigan’s Up and Comers. He was crowned the “Canadian Mist Whiskey Comedian of 2006.” He breaks down day-to-day subjects with a keen wit and drives his points home fearlessly.

Comedian Headliners for Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 are Dave Landau and Bill Bushart.

Working the road nonstop since his 21st birthday, Landau has grown into a true comedic juggernaut. Finding himself much in-demand among audiences and club owners due to his deadpan demeanor and those jokes that fluidly fly forth with breakneck pacing and perfect timing, Landau, it can be said with all due respect, is a throwback to another era of comedy. Cutting his comedic teeth as a teenager in Detroit in the Second City’s Conservatory, Landau has risen to become one of the most in-demand headliners working today. He’s appeared on Comedy Central’s “Live At Gotham” as well as being featured prominently on two consecutive seasons of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.” He’s become a regular on the nationally-syndicated “Bob & Tom” radio show, and was honored as one of the top 21 club comics of today at HBO’s Las Vegas Comedy Festival.

“A bitter pill to swallow” is how Bushart describes his brand of humor. The self-proclaimed King of Detroit Blue Comedy was influenced by comedy greats Don Rickles, Richard Pryor and Bobby Slayton. His offbeat style and animated stage show leaves audiences begging for mercy. He continues to tour the country as a favorite headline act among club-goers and comedy fans nationwide, and was named by the Metro Times as “The Funniest Comedian In Detroit” in 2010. With over a decade of experience as a standup comedy teacher/coach/mentor under his belt, Bushart is widely regarded as the go-to guy to get stand-up going.
