South Saginaw Majors fall to Bad Axe

Bad Axe came out and took control of the game in the first inning, scoring eight runs.

Saginaw Township South scored in the bottom of the first, David Walsh doubled to center and then took home on a sacrifice hit by Aston Rubio to make it 8-1.

In the top of the second, Bad axe scored nine runs for the 17-1 advantage.

Saginaw South then scored one more run in the bottom of the inning, opening with a single from Tommy Churchill, who then took second on an error. J. Kennedy then singled, sending Churchill home, making it 17-2.

Bad Axe then scored two more runs in the third and another in the fourth for the 20-2 final.
