Braun Kendrick welcomes two new associate attorneys


Kosta D. Povich Kosta D. Povich Saginaw Township-based law firm Braun Kendrick announces the addition of Kosta D. Povich and Eric M. Morris as associate attorneys.

Povich, a Saginaw native, joins the firm’s business practice and commercial litigation groups. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from Michigan State University and his juris doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he received an honors scholarship.

Throughout law school, Povich appeared on the dean’s honor list, received several certificates of merit for achieving the highest grade in a course, and served as associate editor of the Journal of Practical and Clinical Law.

During his studies, Povich held positions at Sommers Schwartz, PC, Michigan State University’s Office of the General Counsel, Kelley Cawthorne, PLLC, and Anagnost, PLLC. He has also served as a judicial clerk to Michigan’s 35th District Court.


Eric M. Morris Eric M. Morris Morris, a Saginaw native, joins the firm’s business practice group where he specializes in representing hospitals, physician practice groups and other healthcare service providers. Prior to joining Braun Kendrick, Morris served as in-house counsel to a regional hospital system in the Southeast, where he was responsible for all aspects of physician contracting among other regulatory and compliance matters.

Morris earned a bachelor of arts degree from Michigan State University and his juris doctorate from Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he was a member of the Washington and Lee Law Review and graduated magna cum laude. Prior to attending law school, Morris worked as a legislative aide in the Michigan House of Representatives.

Povich and Morris are both graduates of Heritage High School in Saginaw Township.
