Heritage boy bowlers top Oilers, lose to Dow

The Heritage boys bowling team beat Mt. Pleasant on Wednesday, Jan. 31. The two squads split the Baker games, with the Oilers getting the Baker win on total pins, 314-299. They then split the Peterson games with the Hawks getting the win on total pins, 1589-1653.

Individual games for the Hawks were bowled by Samuel Seegobin (244, 159), Jonathan Villarreal (224, 171), and Ryan Henne (165, 152)

The Hawks lost to Midland Dow on Tuesday, Jan. 30. The Chargers took both Baker games, with Heritage winning both Peterson games, 1531-1273.

Individual games for the Hawks were bowled by Henne (191, 160), Emilio Duran (167), Seegobin (166), and Villarreal (166).

Heritage skiers place fourth at Harrison Jam

The Heritage boys and girls ski teams both placed fourth at the Harrison Jamboree on Monday, Jan. 29. Bryce Coughlin placed 10th in the slalom and 12th in the giant slalom for the boys’ team. For the girls’ team, Aya McGovern placed 10th in the slalom while Kaylee Martinez finished 14th in the giant slalom.
